About us
The owner, Dustin H Choi, is a professional violin maker, graduates of Chicago School of Violin Making in 2004.
Dustin grew up in South Korea and became interested in instrument making from seeing his friend’s violin being repaired at the local violin shop. After high school, he began working at Fine, one of the famous violin shop in Seoul, South Korea. His passion for woodworking leads him to move to Chicago to attend the Chicago School of Violin Making and graduated in 2004.
As graduates of the Chicago School of Violin Making, he has in-depth knowledge of string instruments and extensive skills including highest quality repairs and restoration to return your instrument as close to its original state as possible. He’s been honed those skills over the past 20 years.
